Pearce Watson

Pearce grew up on a dairy farm near Matamata, before completing a Bachelor of Business Studies and MBA. After seven years in the banking sector, as a general manager in the agricultural sector and financial markets trader at Fonterra, Pearce joined Waitomo in 2020. He heads up the Finance and Administration team, and also has core responsibility for Waitomo’s technology strategy. Pearce also has an interest in carbon trading and emissions reductions.

Married to Kate, with two little boys, Pearce lives in Cambridge and keeps himself busy as a Director in a couple of large family-owned farming businesses. When he’s not working, you’ll find him playing sport, reading or hanging out with friends and family.

David & Sarah Marshall own Tutu Totara Ltd - a farming operation comprising dairy (1,400 cows), sheep and beef finishing and Kelso Genetics (Sheep).
- Accountant by background, and an owner in Primary Partners purchasing and managing farms for investors, including sheep, beef, forestry & carbon opportunities.

Aleisha Broomfield

Aleisha Broomfield, along with partner James, farms 600 dairy cows across 2 properties near Morrinsville in the Waikato. She has a background in running events and discussion groups for DairyNZ. She is also on the Fonterra Co-operative Council and the LIC Shareholder reference group and does a small amount of private consulting. Aleisha's main passions are seeing progress, particularly with farm system optimisation, heifer weights and herd reproduction. Outside of work Aleisha likes food, fitness and travel.

Lee Matherson

Lee Matheson is the Managing Director of Perrin Ag, one of New Zealand’s leading agribusiness consultancies. In this role, he provides strategic leadership across the firm’s advisory services, with expertise spanning farm business strategy, whole-farm systems innovation, corporate governance, investment analysis and economic research.  He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Rural Valuation and Management and an Honours degree in Plant Science from Massey University. He is also a Registered Fellow of the Institute of Rural Professionals.
