About the Farm

The business structure is in the form of a private company solely owned by family members.

Governance is provided by a board of directors, with two non family members being appointed as policy.
A farm management committee reports to directors and provides an overview to the on-farm operational management.

On farm management is headed by an operations manager, who reports to the executive director and farm management committee. Dairy and Sheep / Beef managers oversee the running of their respective enterprises and report directly to the operations manager.

Goal Statement

Sisam and Sons is a diversified pastoral based farming company.  The Company’s family shareholders represent over five generations of family ownership with total shareholders now seventeen, The Company’s goal is to distribute these shareholders with returns that are consistent with NZ owner operated farming returns.
